Lincoln Park Rams & Apopka MLK Day Parades

What a wonderful day to honor the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr! Our first parade was in Clermont. We were honored to take pictures with the mayor of Clermont, Chief of Police and a prominent business woman. The weather was beautiful and rain free! The Lincoln Park Rams MC organized the parade which wove through historic African American communities. This was where families lived who worked the land and the orange groves. Our 2nd parade of the day was in Apopka. We made it safely to the staging area, got settled and  grabbed lunch. There were many dance groups, bands, churches, Girl Scouts troops, fraternities, sororities, politicians and more! It was delightful to see the large crowds which lined the street. This community is filled with entrepreneurs!
