On Friday we all checked in and met with the National Staff for discussion related to the NABSTMC Itinerary while at the PROC. We had the option to take a line dancing class with Big MUCCI, and attend the PROC fashion show showcasing our very own Ranger out of Maryland who was volunteered to model.
Friday afternoon several members walked around NOLA enjoying "Grenades and Shots" all I can say is What Happened In NOLA stays in NOLA Emoji
Friday evening the NABSTMC shut down Canal Street walking across the Street from the Marriott to the Sheraton Hotel to attend the Meet & Greet. Once again the NABSTMC stood out in the Black and Gold, we looked like celebrities. The other MC's and people on the Street was taking pictures and recording us because it was a never ending line of Soldiers, I heard them say "Here Comes Those Buffalo Soldiers". The DJ Cleve at the Meet & Greet was on the mic saying this looks like a Buffalo Soldier Convention!!
Saturday morning the NABSTMC met and shut down Canal Street once again for the PROC General Session. This year the PROC chose the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Louisiana as the charity they wanted to support, the NABSTMC donated $2000.00. Several other MC's, RC's and SC's was in attendance and donated but the final count was not disclosed at the meeting.
The NABSTMC received a plaque for the Most Represented National Motorcycle Club in attendance.
Some of the speakers this year was Attorney R Lester an advocate for motorcyclist rights, Big Foo Outcast National President, Big
Bone Outcast Regional President, "ABATE" A Brotherhood/Bikers Against Totalitarian Enactments (A motorcycle safety and rights organization) and the "COC" Confederation of Clubs.
Polaris is a major sponsor of the PROC and they promoted the items that they manufacture, but mainly focused on their Snowmobile Tours.
After the General Session we all enjoyed lunch provided by the NABSTMC with a nice scenic view of New Orleans and some that were the first to register had lunch provided by the PROC. I did not hear any complaints about the food.
The classes offered this year was attended by many members, as stated last year the NABSTMC is years ahead of many of the other
MC's.
I will say that in the President's and Vice President's Class our very own Thor from NJ was the Moderator that kept the class running smoothly and on time. After 60 plus years two of the 1%
Motorcycle Clubs Outcast and Thunder Guard both National Presidents stated they have a mutual agreement to work together as brothers rather than against each other which is huge in the MC
World. We also heard a lot of P words and D words Emoji
Saturday evening we all fellowshipped in the Marriott Lobby doing what we do best and celebrated the Birthday of our Sister High Maintenance with an official NOLA King Cake.
The weather was perfect on the ride to New Orleans, and the return weather was okay the temperature ranged from 40's - 60's but it was chilly due to high winds, and no rain. Emoji
We all had a great time and looking forward to next year's PROC in Greensboro NC January 14th -17th 2027.
